An Immortals Story
Vampire Jackson Cabot will do anything to destroy Europe’s sadistic vampire master—even sacrifice the woman he once loved.
“Jackson? Jackson Cabot?”
He bowed, a swift, graceful angling of the waist. So elegant. So much like the man Leanna remembered. But Jackson was human—he couldn’t still be alive, not after more than a hundred years.
“You’re...” She cleared her throat and began again. “You’re not a ghost.”
“No,” he agreed.
His angled cheekbones, patrician nose, and high forehead hadn’t changed. His hazel eyes, however, glinted with a cynicism that was wholly foreign to the man she’d once loved. The pallor of his complexion...that was different, too.
Horror oozed through her veins. “You’re a vampire.”
SUMMARY
Jackson Cabot's bright future went dark in 1896 Paris, when his beautiful Sidhe lover left him for dead. Turned vampire against his will, stripped of his life and his dignity, he slaved for Europe’s vampire master for three decades before a thin ray of hope pierced his dismal existence: he discovered a secret that enabled him to hoard vampire magic far in excess of a youngling’s natural power.
Now, more than a century after his death, his power at last approaches that of his former master and rival. Though his steward advises patience, Jackson is through biding his time. He will soon force a duel in the streets and catacombs of Rome, though his victory is far from assured.
Until, on the eve of battle, Jackson encounters the one woman whose magic can turn the tide in his favor: the beautiful Immortal Sidhe who killed him.
And everything changes.
